I'm Chris. A multidisciplinary, customer-centric, omnichannel story-teller, who understands you read these same meaningless buzzwords all the time, so I'll stop.

From big brand Volkswagen and Macca’s campaigns at DDB (where I was part of the team that won agency of the year) to data-driven tactical work at CHEP, on clients like Telstra , I’ve worked at Australia’s biggest creative agencies; on brands across every category; with awards in both creativity and effectiveness.

Who says the renaissance man is dead, eh? We live in a time of specialisation, yet I bucked that trend when I took a year hiatus from ‘creative’ to study at Miami AdSchool and then subsequently work as a strategic planner at M&C Saatchi Sydney.

After a decade in agency land, I would cross the table to work client-side at The Walt Disney Company, where, as the first ever creative in Australia, I not only added some serious firepower to their design and production teams, but also helped lead the development of their in-house processes and creative offering.

After the House of Mouse I’ve landed in 'tech', as Creative Strategy Lead ANZ, at the home of gaming, live streaming and Gen Z: Twitch/ Amazon, which, as an avid gamer is a match made in Hyrule (iykyk).

But words are cheap, so I’ll let the work do the rest of the talking. Dig around the inner-workings of my brain with my blog (which popped off when blogs were cool in the late noughties); get your heart strings pulled with the Make a Wish work I made for a little Spider-Man named Zeth, and definitely check out the ESPN brand spot I made, which features an original bop, co-written by Sampa the Great and me (who’ve won four Arias between us).

Oh, and one last thing. Just to make sure all my words weren’t used to fuel the insatiable capitalist machine, I’ve also written a fiction novel. It’s titled Elephant in the Dark. So if you're into whodunnit, psychological thrillers with big tech themes and a dash of dystopia, check it out on Amazon or IRL at Readings bookstore.
